Art Commission
Original paintings and large-format reproductions developed for specific spaces.
Each commission is built at architectural scale — 1.0 to 3.0 metres on canvas, in the current material series. Single-piece up to 2 × 3 m, multi-panel beyond. Three to four-week production timeline including framing. Colour-matched to interior palette where required. Edition of one.
To begin
Send the following to summer@summerjiang.com:
- Wall dimensions (width × height, plus ceiling height)
- Palette direction, or photos of the space
- Deadline
- Indicative budget, if you have one
Subject line: Commission — {your name or firm}
Trade clients: include your firm name and ABN. I respond within one business day at trade pricing, with hi-res files for client presentation.
What you’ll receive within 24 hours
A written proposal: indicative scale, palette concept, deadline confirmation, total quote, and 2–3 reference works from the catalogue at the closest scale.
Production
Brief approval → 50% deposit → production begins (3–4 weeks) → balance on dispatch → insured Australian door-to-door delivery, international rolled freight.
A note on the work
Some clients commission with a personal field in mind — a stage of life, a threshold, work belonging to a specific person. I work with that intent if it is part of the brief. If you would like the work tuned to a specific person’s astrology, include date, time, and place of birth. This is optional. The work holds its own integrity at architectural scale either way.
