Summer Jiang
I was born into post-Cultural Revolution China — a context that challenged every perception from the start. Nothing I was handed matched what I could see.
I moved to Australia, built a life in IT and business — not from passion, from survival. Went deep into Western structure. And went equally deep into human suffering — my own and others'. What came out wasn't borrowed from any tradition or teacher. It was earned through the full passage.
At 45 I walked away to pursue what is true. The 49 Crossings came out of that — years of solitude, deep internal seeking, and a lifetime of active observation across modern psychology, religion, philosophy, and social movements, East and West. Daoism is the most investigated thread. But the framework isn't Daoist. It's a new consolidation — more practical, and built for individual development, not for those who manage it.

What I'm building
- Large-format paintings — each one a crossing. Not decoration. My map made visible. Yours is as important as mine.
- Workshops using art as a tool for genuine creativity — reconstructing the inner world collectively.
- A diagnostic tool that eliminates the confusion of development.
- A land-based community: no pretence, full human expression, alignment as the only structure. (still waiting for the right timing)
This is not a brand. It is my life's structure.
