The Unbecoming Program

Next Program: 1–3 November 2025

Held in natural bushland, approximately 1–2 hours from Melbourne CBD.

A Three-Day Field Immersion in Nature, Art, and Self-Revelation

This is not an art retreat. This is a threshold.

The Unbecoming Program is a 3-day outdoor immersion into silence, movement, and large-scale painting as ritual. It is designed for those ready to meet their own field—without masks, techniques, or performance. You won’t be taught how to paint. You will be guided to create from what’s true.

No art skills required. In fact, not knowing is preferred.

You will walk away with a large-scale painting—but more importantly, with the felt experience of truth as form.

What to Expect

  • 3 full days outdoors in nature (camp-style setup)
  • Silence-led rituals, field clearing, and anchoring practices
  • Use of oversized canvas (approx. 2m)
  • Creation of a personal truth painting in three layers
  • Hands-on guidance in canvas handling, painting, and ritual process
  • Meditation, stillness, and movement woven throughout
  • Option to submit your work for reproduction, licensing, or listing under the Wall Liberation label

Location & Format

  • Held in nature—bushland, under gazebos or trees
  • You may choose from:
    • Outdoor Camping (BYO tent + bedding) – fully immersed in nature
    • Private Cabin Accommodation – limited availability, additional cost (details provided upon acceptance)
  • All core materials provided (canvas, paint, rice paper, tools)
  • Framing and delivery available as optional services
  • Group size: Maximum 7 participants (ideal: 5 or fewer)
