Title: Soundless
Paradox: Seeing everything, moving nothing
The Story
There is a silence that happens between two people when both of them see the same thing and neither can speak it. This river was where I found that silence. The golden tree was burning with autumn and everything around it was dark. I painted two figures because awakening is not something you do alone — even when you are.
The Crossing
Crossing 2.1 Awakening via Holding — Holding the Awareness. Two bodies rest at the edge of awareness that cannot yet translate into action. The golden tree illuminates what is seen while the dark water absorbs what is not yet moved toward. Awakening holds its position — visible, immovable, patient.
