Title: Contemplating
Paradox: Building from scratch with unfamiliar materials
The Story
I stood on a rock ledge above a pool I had never seen before. The sandstone was older than anything I could name. The water was green and still and waiting. I was not ready to jump. I was forming something — the first draft of who I was becoming. This painting is that pause between understanding and action.
The Crossing
Crossing 2.4 Awakening via Forming — Forming the Concept. The figure stands at the edge of the rock pool, not ready to jump but forming the idea of what it would mean to enter. The cliffs and water hold the architecture of a new possibility. At 2.4, the self is being drafted — not yet lived, but real enough to stand on.
