Paradox: Silence aimed at yourself
The Story
I swam against a current in water so blue it looked like the sky had fallen. The rocks around me were enormous and indifferent. Nobody could see the fight. From the shore I looked like someone enjoying a swim. Inside I was holding everything — every truth I could not say, every conflict I would not release. This painting is that invisible war.
The Crossing
Crossing 3.1 Resistance via Holding — Holding the Conflict. A small body moves through blue water surrounded by rock that dwarfs it from every side. The swimmer holds the conflict in the body — carrying everything, showing nothing. At 3.1, the silence is not peace. It is a weapon turned inward, and the weight grows every stroke.
