Title: Golden Canopy
Paradox: Every question dismantles a wall you did not know existed
The Story
I climbed a tree and saw the river differently. From the ground it was just water. From the branches it was a whole system — currents, depth, direction. I painted that shift. The golden light is not sunset. It is the warmth of seeing something for the first time after years of looking at it. The canopy protects and reveals at the same time.
The Crossing
Crossing 2.2 Awakening via Sensing — Sensing the Doubt. The figure sits elevated in a tree, seeing the landscape from a position it did not know existed until it climbed. The golden light is the warmth of a new perspective — not certainty, but the first honest doubt. At 2.2, the questions are not academic. They are felt in the body, and the world looks different from up here.
Presence
A golden-orange translucent figure sits in a tree beside grey-blue water, surrounded by red rock formations, green vegetation, and warm atmospheric light in a large-scale mixed media composition.
Specialised Pigments
Mixed media on stretched canvas. Acrylic and ink with mineral pigments, building translucent golden-orange figure form against blue-grey water and red rock passages.
Display Suggestions
Living rooms or reading spaces where new perspectives and quiet questioning are valued.
