Title: Cycle Without Resistance

Paradox: You choose life, life chooses you.

The Story

This painting began when explanations no longer mattered. I saw that life never stands still, but its movement isn’t random. Patterns return, not as lessons, but as mechanics—cause and effect, impartial and unnegotiable. Most suffering came from identifying with a phase, mistaking it for myself. When acceptance became real, emotion quieted, and the cycle lost its grip. I stopped expecting life to protect or punish. Humility became mechanical, not moral. I don’t believe in escaping cycles, only in not mistaking them for who I am. Involvement deepens, but clinging drops. This work lives in the middle of movement—clear, unresisting, and unbound.

The Crossing

Crossing 6.7 Emanation via Living Dao — Cycle Without Resistance. This work rests in the clarity that movement continues, but identity is no longer bound to its phases. The paradox is not about escaping cycles — it is in seeing that involvement deepens as attachment loosens. Transmission happens without effort or claim; life moves, and the message is lived, not carried.

Presence

A wide horizontal landscape: a saturated yellow-gold sun centres the upper field; below, the horizon dissolves into pale green wash with darker gestural foliage marks at the foreground. Orbital sphere forms line the horizon — red, brown, olive — punctuating the boundary between sky and ground.

Specialised Pigments

Acrylic and ink form the base layers, with pure red, black, and yellow earth pigments applied above. Rice paper, coloured with ink and watercolour, is cut and collaged, then finished with acrylic.

Display Suggestions

Quiet, contemplative spaces; meditation rooms; open living areas.
