Title: The Start of a Summer

Paradox: The beginning arrives disguised as an ending.

The Story

This was the painting where I first felt myself arrive. Everything before it was preparation — doing what I was taught, painting what I thought I should. This one came through differently. The colours were too loud, the sky was wrong, and the figure was me sitting in a place I had not found yet. I painted it before I understood what was starting. Looking back, this was the start — not of a season but of everything that came after.

The Crossing

Crossing 2.2 Awakening via Sensing — Sensing the Doubt. The figure sits in full colour facing a world that no longer looks the way it used to — the pink sky, the saturated greens, the molten reflections are all familiar landscape seen for the first time through awakened eyes. This is the crossing where the comfort of what was known cracks open and the senses flood with information that the old framework cannot contain. The painting holds the exact moment where doubt becomes doorway.
