Paradox: Complete understanding, untested living
The Story
Werribee Gorge taught me something I keep forgetting. You can study the path from above for years and still not know what the water knows. I painted this wide because the gorge demands it — the cliffs don't let you see a small version of anything. Every brushstroke here is an attempt to put down what the mind already sees but the body hasn't reached.
The Crossing
Crossing 2.7 Awakening via Living Dao — The Mind Surrenders. The gorge holds everything the mind has mapped but never entered. Every cliff face is known, every river bend understood — and none of it has been walked. The landscape exists in the precise state where comprehension is total and experience has not yet arrived.
