Title: π of Life
Paradox: To be somebody, become nobody.
The Story
Life is about borrowing the false to cultivate the true. For a long time I mistook the mirror for life. I painted this when I finally dropped the need to be somebody and gave myself to what was in front of me. The mundane stopped being something to get through; everything became reflection answering back.
The Crossing
Crossing 5.6 Embodiment via Receiving — Receiving the Clarity. There is no distinction between what is important and unimportant in the action — everything is equally what is needed. The body moves without strategy, without method, without an agenda for outcome. What appears as doing nothing is the conditions for change taking place.
Presence
A horizontal mixed-media work on canvas — a central dark cruciform figure flanked by two large oval forms with bead-patterned outlines, set against layered fields of gold, brown, pink, and green.
Specialised Pigments
Acrylic and ink on linen canvas. Mineral and earth pigments layered through the figure and field; purple crystal powder catches light along the central forms.
Display Suggestions
Wide statement walls — meditation rooms, studios, open architectural spaces.
